Artist's Comments
This was a project for one of my classes, and I just got it out of the art show a few days ago. xD This thing took me around 20 hours (believe it or not o.o colored pencils take forever,) but there are so many obvious flaws. It's also rather...boring, but my instructor is having me work on more interesting compositions. I never realized how hard it is to switch from a character/costume designer mentality to an illustrator mentality. It's hard making interesting illustrations. x3 But I'm working on it.
Scanner ate the colors, had to scan it in 4 pieces so yes there are probably visible seams blah blah blah... Edit: Adjusted the colors in Photoshop to make it look a bit more truer to the colors on the actual piece.  |
